The AssetGo daily checks mobile app and CMS system allows drivers to carry out their daily walkaround checks with precision and efficiency. Our systems store data from past walkaround checks, promoting HGV and commercial vehicle safety.
Customisable
checklists
AssetGo is pre-loaded with templates for all DVSA and FORS compliant checklists, allowing you to carry out vehicle defect checks on your HGV, PSV, Van, FLT, Minibus or Trailer. You can customise your checklists, including the reordering of questions, to suit the unique requirements of your fleet.
You can also make text and photo annotations mandatory during regular walkaround checks, helping to ensure your staff are following your compliance procedures when performing their daily vehicle check.
Secure and tamper
proof reports
Once the driver’s report is submitted, it cannot be edited or changed, providing a secure and reliable audit trail. This enables your business to comply with DVSA legislation, and drivers can easily access reports should they be asked to provide them by a DVSA officer.
The report declaration, which users agree to on completing a report, can be customised to suit your business requirements.
GPS and time-stamped

When your commercial vehicle or HGV drivers perform a daily check, the AssetGo app records the GPS location and a start and finish time. This data allows your management team to monitor the duration and standards of the checks.
Submitted reports have a zoomable map with a pin showing the recorded GPS location.
Accident and incident
reporting
AssetGo allows a user to report any accidents or incidents, as well as any safety concerns during their journey. Reports are sent to the AssetGo CMS in real-time and record vital information such as 3rd party details from other road users, images and notes. Each report includes a GPS location and a time stamp for your records.
Once submitted, you can view the report and additional information recorded using the AssetGo CMS.

AssetGo Defect Reporting gives you a digital version of a traditional daily checks defect book.
- Your users can quickly and effectively perform their commercial vehicle or HGV daily check with greater accuracy, ensuring they record vital safety information and prove that their vehicle is in good condition
- They can report any identified defects and send them instantly to the AssetGo management portal, along with other important information such as fuel and fluid levels, odometer readings and vehicle cleanliness
- Each driver can view historical reports in the event of a roadside check, giving a comprehensive overview of the asset’s compliance when required
- They can take up to four photographs per question and add notes if required, allowing a Transport Manager to decide on the severity of the defect and speed up the rectification process
- The AssetGo Daily Check App allows all daily checks for HGVs and other asset types to be carried out and monitored for efficiency and accuracy
